Go Further, Dream Bigger

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
(Philippians 4:13, NKJV)
TODAY’S WORD
Today, I want to remind you of what God says about you. No matter what’s happening in your life today, remember: you are not limited by your resources, your family or your background. Almighty God has equipped and empowered you. He has given you creativity, ideas, inventions, skills and talents. Don’t you dare settle for a mediocre life! Today, I call forth the seeds of greatness inside of you.
Today, I declare that your best days are ahead. That you are going to go further than anyone in your family ever did; that you are going to dream bigger and live higher. I declare that you are a leader, an influencer, a minister of reconciliation. You are the fragrance of God to the nations.

Speak Vision

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”
(Proverbs 18:21, NIV)
TODAY’S WORD
Every word you speak matters. Something you say may seem insignificant to you, but to someone else those words can be life changing. When you use your words to lift someone’s spirit and speak words of vision and life over them, you are depositing seeds that will last throughout eternity.  It's especially important to speak vision into our children. As a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, teacher or friend, the children in your life need to hear on a regular basis that they can do something great with their lives. As parents, our words carry incredible weight. That’s why you should never put a child down. Don’t ever say, “You’re slow, clumsy or dumb. Why can’t you make good grades like your sister? Why can’t you hit the baseball like your cousin?” Those words are seeds. They can take root and affect that child many years later. Too many people have been crippled by low expectations. But today, all of that can change. Today, you can start to speak vision over yourself and over the people in your life. Today, you can call out the seeds of greatness in others and stir up the gift of God inside. Today, speak life, speak hope and speak vision!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, today I choose to speak life. I choose to speak hope. I choose to speak vision. Let me see the people in my life the way You see them. Let me see the potential You have placed in them so that I can call forth their seeds of greatness in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Hear My Voice

Hear My Voice

My Princess,

I am never too busy
 for you and long to
be closer to you,
My beloved. If you
 will turn off the things
around you that drown Me out of your daily life,
you will begin to hear Me in your spirit.
When you don't know where to go,
you will hear Me give you divine direction.
When you are in need of a friend, you will
hear Me whisper, "I am here." When you need
comfort, you will hear Me call to you, "Come to Me."

Don't let your agenda distract you from
time with Me. Quiet your spirit and know
that I am your heavenly Father and you
are My precious daughter. I love when you
crave time to be still with Me.

Love,
Your King and the Voice of heaven

Give GOD Your Plans

My Princess,

I know you have an idea in your head
on how everything should unfold in your
life. Even today you have an agenda.
Because I love you, I need you to give Me
back all your plans for today and for all
your tomorrows.
If you let Me have your day,
I can then intervene with something special.
My intervention will give you more joy in
your journey than your good intentions.

I know all that your heart longs for,
and I want to do more for you than you
could ever do for yourself. So give Me a
chance to change your agenda from
ordinary to extraordinary, because that's
the kind of life I've destined you to live, My beloved.

Love,
Your King and your Life Planner

~Proverbs 16:3, NIV~

But God!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“O LORD, how many are my foes! How many rise up against me! ...But you are a shield around me, O LORD; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head.”
(Psalm 3:1–3, NIV)
TODAY’S WORD
When David wrote this verse, He was in a very difficult situation. He was actually running for his life from his very own son who wanted to kill him and take over the throne. Can you imagine?! David was probably feeling overwhelmed, distraught, heartbroken, betrayed and abandoned. Have you ever felt that way? But notice that David didn’t just tell the Lord all about his problems. He told the Lord about his faith when he said, “But You, God, are a shield around me...” David made the choice to focus on God’s goodness no matter what.
We have to remember, circumstances may be tough, but God is working behind the scenes on your behalf. You may have a difficult relationship, but God is your Restorer today. You may have an overwhelming need, but God is your Provider today! The doctors may have told you that you have an incurable disease, but God is your Healer today! Things may look impossible today, BUT WITH GOD, all things are possible! If you’ll keep that constant attitude of faith and victory, you’ll see the hand of God move in your life, and you will experience the life of victory He has in store for you!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, thank You for always being faithful and working in my life. Today I open my heart to You and choose to focus on You instead of my circumstances. I know that with You, all things are possible in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Bring Out the Best

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“...love is kind...”
(1 Corinthians 13:4, NIV)
TODAY’S WORD
One translation of today’s simple verse says that “love looks for a way to be constructive.” In other words, love looks for ways to improve someone else’s life. Love brings out the best in other people. Don’t just get up in the morning thinking about yourself or how you can make your own life better. Think about how you can make someone else’s life better. Ask yourself, “Who can I encourage today?” “Who can I build up?” You have something to offer those around you that no one else can give. Someone in your life needs your encouragement. Someone in your life needs to know that you believe in them. I believe God will hold us responsible for the people He’s put in our lives. He’s counting on us to bring out the best in our family and friends.
Are you improving the lives of those around you? Are you pouring confidence in them? Why don’t you ask the Lord to give you creative ways to bring out the best in others? As you sow into the lives of others, God will send people along your path that will build you up so that you can embrace every blessing He has in store for you.
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, thank You for loving me. Thank You for believing in me and always building me up. I ask that You show me creative ways to encourage and build up the people around me. Help me to be an example of Your love in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Characteristics of Love

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“Now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
(1 Corinthians 13:13, NIV)
TODAY’S WORD from
Spiritual maturity isn’t measured by how long you’ve been a Christian, how much you know, or how often you go to church. Spiritual maturity is measured by the way you treat other people. It’s measured by the love you allow to operate through you. First Corinthians 13 tells us about the characteristics of love. One characteristic is that it is not rude. That means, when we are walking in love, we treat other people with courtesy and respect. Are you courteous to other people? Are you kind to the person at the checkout counter that may be moving too slowly for you? Are you gentle when you are driving down the highway and someone cuts you off? Are you patient with your family and coworkers? These are all ways we show love.
Scripture also tells us that love is patient. It is kind. It does not envy; it is not proud. It is not rude. Love is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love never fails. Notice that these characteristics don’t have anything to do with feelings. That’s because love is a choice. You can choose to walk in love toward people even when you don’t feel like it. Today, make the choice to do what is right. Choose today to show kindness and be courteous to others. Look for ways to cultivate the greatest thing in your life — love! As you do, you’ll move forward into the life of blessing God has in store for you!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me so that I can show love to others. Teach me to be patient and kind and treat others the way You always treat me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Dream Boldly

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.
Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD
your God will be with you wherever you go”
(Joshua 1:9, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD

When you look out into your future, what do you see?
What are the dreams and desires that you hold close to your heart?
So many people start with
bold dreams,but then opposition
comes. Life doesn’t turn out the
way they planned. They lose
a loved one or encounter difficulty
they didn’t anticipate. Today, if that’s
you, I want to remind you that
the Creator of the universe
designed you with specific
gifts and talents that no one
else has.He has you on this planet for a specific
purpose. When you commit your life to Him, He promises
to be with you wherever you go. Even though some things in
life may have caught you by surprise, they didn’t catch God
by surprise. His good plan for your life remains. You can trust
Him because He loves you with an everlasting love, and He
doesn’t want to see you settling for anything less than His very
best.
I want to encourage you to be bold, be strong and be
courageous. Put aside the past and lift up your eyes to
Jesus. He is the Author and Finisher of your faith. Live
boldly and dream boldly so you can embrace the good
things He has in store for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, today I come boldly to You. I open my heart and mind to Your Word. Fill me with Your strength today; fill me with Your hope, and keep me close to You always as I put You first in everything I do in Jesus’ name. Amen.

You are Equipped

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“Every Scripture is God-breathed...so that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
(2 Timothy 3:16–17, AMP)
TODAY’S WORD
God has equipped you with everything you need to fulfill your destiny through His Word. That means you are well able to do what He has called you to do. You can accomplish your goals. You can fulfill your dreams! You have the ideas, the creativity, and talent to be successful. You can overcome any obstacle. You’ve been armed with strength for every battle.
Not only has God equipped you, but He is also working on your behalf. He has already gone before you and lined up the right people and the right opportunities. You have everything you need to live a victorious life — you were created to excel!
You may not have seen it in the past, but if you’ll stay in faith, it’s just a matter of time; victory is on its way. Don’t settle where you are. Don’t have a weak, defeated mentality. Have the attitude, “I am anointed. I can accomplish my dreams. I can overcome any obstacle. I am empowered by the Creator of the universe, and I am thoroughly equipped for every good work that God has called me to!”
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Heavenly Father, thank You for equipping me. Thank You for empowering me. Help me to stay focused on Your Word and Your plan for me today. Help me to walk in Your anointing so that I can do all You’ve called me to do. I bless You today in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Growing Your Faith

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
(Romans 10:17, NKJV)
TODAY’S WORD
Do you desire to have more faith? Scripture tells us that faith can grow and increase. Notice that today’s scripture doesn’t say, “Faith comes by having heard the Word of God one time.” It says that faith comes by hearing — in the present tense. We have to hear the Word of God over and over again in order for it to take root in our hearts and transform our minds. Sure, God’s Word can transform us in an instant, but most of the time, our faith grows as we hear the Word of God again and again.
Just as a seed needs water daily to grow, your spirit needs the Word of God daily. The more you hear God’s Word, the more you know Him. The more you know Him, the more you will be able to believe Him — and that’s what faith is!
Today, why don’t you choose a few scriptures to meditate on? Write them down and carry them in your purse or wallet. Let that truth sink down into your soul. Let the truth of the Word transform you and move you forward into the abundant life God has prepared for you!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father in heaven, thank You for Your Word that is living and active and growing in my life. I submit myself to You today and ask You to teach me Your ways. Give me insight into Your Word so that I may know You more in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Pursue Loyalty

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“He who pursues righteousness and loyalty finds life...”
(Proverbs 21:21, NASB)
TODAY’S WORD
Have you ever noticed that righteousness and loyalty go together? In other words, if we’re not being loyal — to our family, friends, country, job — then we aren’t going to experience God’s best. Loyal people are honorable people. When you’re loyal, you stick with someone through thick and thin. When you’re loyal, you keep your word to people — even if you get a “better” offer.
Loyal people are respectful of their country and leaders. Loyal people honor their parents and defend their family. When you’re loyal, you are a person of integrity. You build trust with others. Is this an area where you can rise higher? Are you faithful in the things you’re committed to? Can you be more loyal? Don’t let the distractions of everyday life keep you from being dedicated. Look for ways to show honor to those around you. Is there something you need to set aside for the sake of a loved one? Show love by staying loyal. As scripture promises, when you pursue loyalty and righteousness, you will find the abundant life God has planned for you!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Heavenly Father, thank You for the promise of life in Your Word. Show me any area where I can rise up higher by pursuing loyalty. Help me, by Your Spirit, to be more faithful and supportive to those around me. Let Your light shine through me as I pursue righteousness and loyalty today in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Giver of Every Good Gift

My Beautiful Girl,

I have given you the gift of eternal life, but My giving does not stop there. Inside of you is a supernatural surprise-a gift that is waiting to be unwrapped...by you. Yes, it's there. It's hidden behind dreams waiting to be pursued. Swallowed up by daily distractions and drowned by disappointment.

Let Me help you clear out the clutter and find your gift. You'll find it in that place in life that brings you the greatest joy, that place where your soul longs to be, that work your hands love to do.

But this gift that I've given to you is not just for you. I have blessed you to be a blessing to others. When you find your gift, I will take it and multiply it beyond what you could ever imagine. So ask Me, and I will help you open your gift so that you can give it away to the world-not to impress-but to bless.

Love,
Your King and the Giver of every good and perfect gift

~

He Carries Me

My Beloved,

When you hurt, I hurt with you. I too walked through this world with a broken heart. Don't hold back-instead call out My name. In your dark hours, I will carry you into My presence where true healing begins and love you back to life again. I am your Lord and the lover of your soul, and I want to be the shoulder your tears fall on. I promise, My beloved, your tears will not be wasted when they are poured out to Me.

Love,

Jesus who will wipe away your tears

Line up Your Heart

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“Teach me your way, LORD, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.”
(Psalm 86:11, NIV)
TODAY’S WORD
When the Lord looks at your heart, what does He see?
Everyone has an outer life and an inner life. The outer life is our public life that people can see. The inner life is made up of your thoughts, attitudes and motives. Only you and God know what’s going on inside. Too many people go around today pretending — acting one way, yet on the inside, they’re thinking something totally different. Their heart and their actions don’t line up.
We have to understand that God looks at the inside. We can fool a lot of people, but we can’t fool God. God would rather us be open and honest than for us to go through life pretending or wearing masks. Today, take inventory of what’s going on inside of you. Are you at peace? Are you overlooking offenses? Do you believe the best in people? Are your heart and actions lining up? If not, submit your ways to the Lord today and ask Him to give you an undivided heart. Live a life pleasing to Him and walk in His blessing all the days of your life!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Dear Father, I humbly come before You today and ask that You search the deep places of my heart. Show me if there is any area where I need to line up my heart and actions. Help me to be authentic in You today in Jesus’ name. Amen.
